Brass Ring Academy and Cabaret will be on March 9, 2019, at the New England Carousel Museum, 95 Riverside Avenue, Bristol, CT.

The Academy is from 10am to 6pm, and is all ages.

The Cabaret is from 7pm to 11:30pm, and is 18+.

Driving Directions

From I-84 Westbound (coming from Hartford) Take Exit 33, CT 72, Bristol.  Keep left at the fork to follow 72.  After 4 miles, turn right to stay on 72.  Take the 3rd right onto Riverside Ave.  The Museum will be on your right in .7 miles.

From I-84 Eastbound (coming from Waterbury) Take Exit 31, West Street.  Turn left onto West St, which turns into Route 229/Middle Street.  Just before the train bridge, take a left on Riverside Ave.  Get in the right lane.  There will be two right  turns coming off essentially the same point.  Take the second one to stay on Riverside Ave.  The Museum will be on your right in .7 miles.

From I-91 or 15 (New Haven and points south)  Take whichever road you like better to I-691 West.  Merge onto I-84 Eastbound and follow the directions above.

From Route 9 (Middletown) Take the LEFT exit 28, Route 72, Bristol.  Merge onto 84 West.  Follow directions for Westbound above.

Parking

Immediately after the second cross street on Riverside, Mellen St, there’s a big parking lot on the right. You’ll see a large brick factory building on the right that says Bristol Water Department at the top.  Park here.  Walk on the sidewalk next to the building, and the next big factory building on the right is the Carousel Museum.  Alternately, if you drive past the museum, the next intersection has a large municipal lot across the street to the right.

The spaces in front of the museum are handicapped and vendor only, so please don’t use them except for drop-off. Also, please DO NOT park in the lot of the hairdresser across the street.
